Gears Tactics, the upcoming turn-based strategy game set in the Gears of War universe, will not include any form of microtransactions. The game was announced back at E3 2018, and little else had been said about it up until a new gameplay trailer debuted at the 2019 Game Awards last week. Google appears to be experimenting with new “Listen Now” ads in search results for streaming music services including its own Google Play Music and competitors like Apple’s Beats Music. The Wall Street Journal first noticed the ads and confirmed the new format with Google: Google also confirmed to The Wall Street Journal that the music services pay per click just like traditional ads it displays in search. Along with its own Google Play service and Apple’s Beats Music, the Listen Now section is also currently showing ads from Rhapsody and Spotify....
In February, the story broke that Google and other advertising companies were bypassing iOS Safari’s privacy settings and continuing to track users without their consent. Google quickly disabled its code responsible for the tracking after a story from The Wall Street Journal published, and Apple then claimed it was “working to put a stop” to the issue. Now, a new report from Mercury News claimed the U.S. Federal Trade Commission is considering whether to fine Google over the incident....

Google Lens began widely rolling out to Android in March and got a big update at I/O 2018 with real-time results and smart text selection.
