Google Project Glass Design Is Patented

This means things are as serious as possible and that the device, reportedly worn by Google executives, like Sergey Brin and Vic Gundotra, could be a reality soon. The patents posted can be viewed here, here and here and they show different design versions. This just might be a good idea since whatever Google does, everyone wants to do, for some reason (insert smiley face here). Interestingly, Oakley has been developing something similar for a few years now – but I’m not sure it will be able to compete with Google in terms of marketing, provided both products are available at the same time....

Growing Your Agency The Power Of No

There are no signs of things slowing down anytime soon, considering the sheer volume of work associated with managing social media on behalf of clients today. My advice for any budding agency that’s adapting to keep up and grow their offering is this: Shift your focus. Instead of chasing exponential growth, look to the bottom line. Instead of saying “yes” to every ask, start thinking about how to say “no....

Gumroad Review Pricing Features Creator Economy Tools

Social media—especially YouTube and Instagram—allowed talented people who’d otherwise have toiled in obscurity to show their work and build followings. Blogs did the same for authors. The corporate world saw all these people getting famous and wanted access to their audiences, but had little regard for the content. Gumroad, on the other hand, saw the value of the content itself. Since 2011, the e-commerce platform has helped independent authors, designers, coders—any digital creator, really—to easily sell their downloadable content....

Halloween Where Michael Myers Got His Mask In Every Movie

Michael Myers manages to end up wearing the same - or similar - masks in every Halloween movie, and they don’t just appear out of thin air. First debuting in legendary director John Carpenter’s original 1978 classic, Michael Audrey Myers has gone on to cement himself as one of the scariest boogeymen in the history of horror. There will seemingly always be a place for him in the hearts of horror fans, as evidenced by the massive success of Blumhouse’s 2018 Halloween reboot....

Harry Potter 10 Hidden Details About Hagrid S Costume

Rubeus Hagrid is easily one of the best characters in the Harry Potter series. He is a great friend to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. He is also extremely loyal to Albus Dumbledore and genuinely cares about the people he befriends. A decent portion of these passionate fans are cosplayers, who enjoy wearing costumes inspired by their favorite Potter characters. Some of these cosplays look like they were plucked right from the Warner Brothers’ costuming department....

Harry Potter 20 Crazy Details About Lucius Malfoy

Lucius Malfoy not only has the pleasure of being the father of Harry’s greatest rival, but he was also one of Lord Voldemort’s most devoted servants. This Pure-Blood fanatic had more appearances in the Harry Potter books and films than any other member of Voldemort’s army of Death Eaters. The only exception is the double-agent, Severus Snape. In addition to this fact, Lucius was really the only legitimate Death Eater who went through a complete story arc....

Following that, only the iOS version of the browser wasn’t open-source. However, that’s changing today as Google has announced that the code for Chrome on iOS has been moved into the Chromium open-source repository. Chrome for iOS has always been kept separate due to the fact that it relies on the WebKit rendering engine rather than Google’s Blink engine....
