The Harry Potter films have been among some of the highest grossing franchises of all time. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 has taken the title for the highest grossing film of the entire series, but at least nine out of the Harry Potter films ranked in the top highest grossing titles for each respective year. For followers of the books and movies, it’s clear that fans of the Wizarding World certainly span across multiple generations....

The Harry Potter books have been banned by a Catholic school for containing “real” spells. Since arriving in 1997, author J.K. Rowling’s wildly popular books about teen wizard Harry Potter and his closest friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley have become the best-selling book series in history. As any Harry Potter fan knows, the books are packed with a multitude of characters and insights into the wizarding world, which operates in a kind of parallel existence to the actual non-magical, or Muggle world....

While Legendary is set to expand their Monsterverse with the upcoming Kong: Skull Island – which just released its final trailer – the studio has also been hard at work getting a sequel to the first installment in that universe underway with Godzilla: King of Monsters. Written and directed by Michael Dougherty, not a ton is known about the plot of Godzilla: King of Monsters though there are prevailing rumors that fans could get a little teaser in Kong: Skull Island....

Chris Pratt shared a new photo giving a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the newest heroes of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Pratt battled a number of adversaries as Star-Lord in the first Guardians of the Galaxy, including Ravagers leader Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Thanos’ adopted daughter Nebula (Karen Gillan). Yondu, however, remains something of a father figure to Peter Quill/Star-Lord as the latter seeks his real father in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol....

A few months before Apple is set to release a 7.85-inch tablet of its own, it convinced a German court to ban Samsung’s similar-sized, year-old offering based on the look and feel of the 10-inch iPad. Apple launched its latest mobile OS on Wednesday and app developers are in the process of supporting the latest features. Google has two iOS 14 updates ready with a Search widget and Chrome browser default, while it’s readying a third. iOS 14 lets applications create home screen widgets that are much more prominent than before. The main Google app now offers “lightning-fast access to Search” to “find information even faster.” The first iOS 14 widget is 2×2 with “Search Google” in the bottom-left corner and a narrow bar up top that opens your keyboard to allow for immediate text input....

Google Earth on iOS has been updated with one of the most requested features: a measurement tool. Announced in a blog post, Google shared that after previously coming to Chrome and Android, it has brought the popular feature to iOS. Google shared some other useful ways to use the measure tool like checking out the size of a park in a new neighborhood before buying a home or teachers using it to create engaging lessons for students....

Google today announced that it’s releasing a version of its Google Drive Slides app for iPhone and iPad alongside updates to its previously released Docs and Sheets apps for iOS devices. Released today, Slides offers the same functionality as Google’s web based version of the presentation software allowing users to create and edit new presentations, collaborate with others, and work with Microsoft PowerPoint files.
