Chris Pratt won’t definitively say if Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. While Thor spent some time with the Guardians in Avengers: Infinity War, it wasn’t until the next installment that fans began to wonder if he could join the team of misfits. At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Thor decides to give up his title as King of Asgard and travel the galaxy with the Guardians....

According to director James Gunn, the soundtrack for the original Guardians of the Galaxy was the third best selling vinyl album from the last decade. In the previous decade, Marvel gave us quite a few surprises, but one of the biggest surprises remains 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Glee is known for having a sizable ensemble cast where supporting characters come and go like musical chairs. Considering the show takes place in a school setting, this isn’t too surprising because there are tons of students and teachers to cover. Some of these characters are likable and even well developed, while others simply make our skin crawl. Godfather of Harlem, which is a prequel to Denzel Washington’s 2007 movie American Gangster, tells the story of crime boss Ellsworth ‘Bumpy’ Johnson (Forest Whitaker) in 1960s America. The Epix original series currently has a solid 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s a good and pretty straightforward show. You won’t have to study it like a Quantum Physics textbook to comprehend the proceedings....

The 2020 Golden Globes, presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and hosted by a particularly acerbic Ricky Gervais, were awarded on Sunday, and the evening came with its share of surprises and delightful moments. Often seen as a dinner party with awards, the Golden Globes ceremony sports a more relaxed atmosphere with stars enjoying drinks as the best in film and television is recognized. Past ceremonies have brought us memorable moments like Ving Rhames giving his award to Jack Lemmon in 1998, Oprah bringing down the house with her speech in 2018, and Emma Stone apologizing from the audience for Aloha during last year’s Golden Globes....

Google Chrome’s Prudhvikumar Bommana thanked dozens of security researchers for helping them find bugs, many of which were given a high severity rating. Chrome 97.0.4692.71 includes fixes for CVE-2022-0096 – a critical use-after-free (UAF) vulnerability – as well as other UAF’s like CVE-2022-0098, CVE-2022-0099, CVE-2022-0103, CVE-2022-0105 and CVE-2022-0106. There are also three heap buffer overflow issues rated high severity. Google did not say if exploits exist for any of the vulnerabilities, but BreachQuest CTO Jake Williams said he was not aware that any of these vulnerabilities are being actively exploited in the wild....

Grammarly is a very useful writing tool and with more and more people using iPad for productivity, the service has included some nice updates for Apple’s tablet in the latest Grammarly for iPadOS release. First up is the ability to access the Grammarly Editor withing the iPadOS app, so no more bouncing between the app and the web version. The other change here is official support for hardware keyboards like Apple’s Magic Keyboard in the iPadOS app (via the Grammarly blog)....

So far, Grand Theft Auto roleplaying is a community-driven effort, powered by fan-made mods and servers. That same movie was immediately available under the Library tab of the TV app on my iPhone and iPad....

I’ve been spending time with some USB-C audio hardware, using it with a Windows PC with USB-C ports and with a recent Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. While my test PC has a headphone jack, it’s awkwardly placed on the side of the screen, so using a USB-C audio device puts the audio connection down by the keyboard, a much easier position for the cable. Moshi’s USB-C DAC adapter and its Mythro C headphones are intended to work with Android phones but are a good match for the current generation of PCs as well....
