Google’s Gboard iOS keyboard has been one of the better received third-party keyboards yet. Today Google is releasing Gboard version 1.2 for iOS with a few highly requested features. New themes, additional emoji, and support for 3D Touch and the handy cursor placement trick are all included plus more.

Gboard replaces the standard iOS keyboard on iPhone and iPad and puts features like Google Search and GIF search in any app that lets you type. Gboard also supports glide typing which lets you move your finger along the keyboard to use predictive text to input text rather than pecking out each letter.

The first update added dark mode, additional languages, GIF suggestions, and background themes. Starting today, you can choose from new landscape themes and use new iOS 10 emoji. You can also use 3D Touch to firmly press the keyboard on your iPhone 6s or later to control the cursor placement on text which is super handy.
