Gossip Girl was a teen drama television series that focused on an attractive and affluent group on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. One of these characters was named Blair Waldorf, and she was the Queen B of this main group (or she at least liked to think so).
From her signature headbands and preppy looks to her designer gowns and overall princess vibe, Blair certainly had many stylish outfits that stood out within this TV show—and, all these years later, most still do. The 10 that are listed out down below were her very best ones.
Yellow Coat & Red Tights
One of the first outfits worn by Blair helped to tell everyone exactly what her style was like. She did attend a private school, but, even outside of those halls, she tended to opt for preppy and polished pieces.
In this instance, she wore a white collared shirt underneath a navy dress, with a cute bow detail. She had on her signature tights and a headband, which were both in red, a power color. And, on top of it all, there was this yellow coat and a yellow belt. She even matched with Chuck Bass!
Black Lace & Black Headband
Another early ensemble was this black one that is giving off Brigitte Bardot vibes (a little sugar, a little spice, and a little mod fashion, too!). This was a party dress, so it had some festive details, like lace. Underneath it, she wore black tights, along with black heels. And, on her head, like a cherry on top, she wore a black headband.
Overall, it was very glamorous and very on-brand for this girl, and it is easy to picture her as a bit of a mean girl (which she certainly could be… a very fashionable mean girl).
Purple Top + Pencil Skirt
When Chuck showed Blair the hotel he bought, that was a big moment for them. Therefore, it called for a memorable outfit! This is such a refined summer look, one that she could have worn whether she was attending a social function, shopping, or spending the day with her man.
The purple blouse had flirty frills. The pencil skirt fit her like a glove, the hot pink purse added a fun and feminine touch, and her low and loose bun went with it all quite nicely.
Pink Gown + Crown
Next up is one of Blair’s most notable outfits of all time. The main attraction was this poofy pink gown that looked like cotton candy. To class it up a bit, she added a cream-colored jacket that could have been Chanel which was buttoned up and had a sparkly pin on it. Then, of course, there was her crown, as Dan reminded her of who she was: the Queen B!
This whole thing certainly is remembered by all Gossip Girl fans, and for good reasons.
Sequins & Curls
Another dress that was worn to another event by this character looked like it came straight from the 1920s; the intricate beading and the dainty sleeves were both gorgeous details. She also wore her hair super curly in this moment, which was not normal for her but which looked beautiful, of course—and as usual.
Yes, she is giving off super sweet and stylish and sugary vibes here… but looks can be deceiving! In all seriousness, this was a very mature and magnificent moment for this character.
Brown Cape & Brown Dress
Blair loved the fall months, as they brought about her birthday and her favorite holiday Thanksgiving. That being said, she had several cold-weather looks that truly stand out to fans.
First up was this brown ensemble that is far from drab. There is a sweetheart-style dress made of lace. There are leggings underneath it, as usual. There is a headband, as well as other appropriate and amazing accessories, and there is this adorable cape, which is very elegant.
Brown Cape & Ice Skates
A similar outfit was worn when this character went ice skating with her family. The cape and skirt were both made out of brown plaid material since she did love a preppy look. She paired these with white and light pink clothing items to soften it up a bit, like this cute hat.
While there are many options that could be worn while on the rink, Blair had the perfect thing that was definitely the best thing there and that was so totally her.
Wedding Gown & Veil
This leading lady was seen in a couple of different wedding gowns over the years, including the one she wore on her big day with Louis. While this relationship did not turn out as planned, she did look stunning.
The material, the fit, the bow, the veil, the flowers… all of it screamed beautiful bride in the best way possible, and fans loved her here (even if her groom actually didn’t).
Blue Sparkles & Shine
Of course, there was a wedding dress that was even better, though: the one she wore with Chuck. This ceremony had to come together quickly, then was cut short by the cops—but this couple wouldn’t have wanted anything else but this drama!
They were under a bridge in Central Park. There was a vintage-glam feeling to her dress. There was a headband that was sparkly than all the rest. There was this beautiful blue color, which the groom also had within his stylish suit. This was goals all around and in every way!
Red Gown (& Chuck Bass)
Blair’s final fashion moment that needs to be mentioned also involved Chuck, in a bittersweet scene; she was in the most gorgeous gown ever. It was the perfect shade of red, which is a passionate and bold color. It was covered in ruffles, which went well with her princess style. It had a sweetheart neckline, which was very attractive on her. While she would have rocked any outfit, she did always have the best ones, as shown by this list.
