Grace and Frankie season 6 features a variety of cameos and appearances from guest stars. Created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, Netflix’s comedy series stars two legendary actresses, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, as the titular characters.

Peter Gallagher as Nick Skolka

 

Nick Skolka is a business executive who used to be Grace’s former lover. However, the two rekindle their relationship after Robert’s departure and at the end of the fifth season, Grace and Nick elope. Grace and Frankie season 6 deals with the aftermath of their secret marriage and how it affects Grace’s relationship with Frankie. Gallagher’s most notable role to date was the charming lawyer and Cohen family patriarch, Sandy Cohen, on The O.C.

Ernie Hudson as Jacob

After his last appearance in season 4, Jacob, one of Frankie’s exes, returns in Grace and Frankie season 6 just as Frankie begins to settle down with another man. Hudson played roles in Oz and both Miss Congeniality films. However, most people recognize Hudson as Winston Zeddmore from Ghostbusters and its subsequent films.

Michael McKean as Jack

Michael McKean plays Jack in Grace and Frankie season 6, a music executive who becomes Frankie’s new love interest after the pair meet at a gala and share a mutual interest in The Grateful Dead. McKean is known for his roles in This Is Spinal Tap, Clue, and Saturday Night Live. Recently, McKean portrayed Jimmy McGill’s brother, Chuck, on the Emmy-nominated Better Call Saul.

Mary Steenburgen as Miriam

Trouble is on the horizon for Grace once Miriam, Nick’s ex, arrives to wreak havoc in Grace and Frankie season 6. Steenburgen won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Lynda Dummar in Melvin and Howard. The actress also appeared in Elf, Step Brothers, and The Proposal.

Elliot Gould as Dr. Rogers

Gould plays Dr. Rogers, the doctor who relays unfortunate news to Sol at the beginning of Grace and Frankie season 6. Gould is an Academy Award-nominated actor most known for his performances in Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, MASH, Friends, and Nashville, with the latter alongside Tomlin.

Millicent Martin as Joan-Margaret

Joan-Margaret is Grace and Frankie’s live-in aide. In Grace & Frankie season 6, Joan-Margaret’s visa expires so she needs to find a man to marry her in order to stay in the United States. Martin is best known for her role as Gertrude Moon in Frasier.

Orson Bean as Bruno

When Frankie needs to find a man to marry Joan-Margaret in order to keep her in the United States, she turns to Bruno as a potential solution. Bean is an acting legend with credits that stretch back to the 50s. His most notable work happened as a panelist on game shows such as Match Game, Tattletales, and To Tell The Truth.

The Cast of Shark Tank

The climax of Grace and Frankie season 6 happens when the duo pitches Rise Up to the moguls on Shark Tank. The sharks featured are Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner, and Rohan Oza.

Engelbert Humperdinck

Engelbert Humperdinck, which is actually his real name, shows up in the wedding video of Grace and Nick in Grace and Frankie season 6. Humperdinck is an English pop singer known for hits like “Release Me” and “The Last Waltz.”
