This Halloween got even sweeter for one Hannah Brown fan. Watch as the former star of The Bachelorette Hannah Brown and her Dancing with the Stars dance partner Alan Bersten surprise a young fan at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
Brown’s season of The Bachelorette was one of the most dramatic and controversial seasons ever for the ABC program. The former pageant queen’s season brought to light controversial subjects such as slut-shaming, religion, and when it’s time to walk away from a relationship. Brown shocked audiences when she broke off her engagement to Jed Wyatt after it was revealed that he was in a relationship when he came on the show and felt like he “wasn’t here for the right reasons.” Needless to say, it was an emotional season for Brown and she was open with her fans about the mental toll the process took on her. After her tough time on The Bachelorette, she went on Dancing with the Stars to redeem herself and finally “win” on a reality TV show. Even though she’s been pretty unlucky in love, Brown has gathered quite a few fans throughout her TV journey thanks to her winning personality.
On Halloween, the former pageant queen went alongside her dance partner to surprise a young Dancing with the Stars and Bachelorette fan at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The Instagram page for the hospital posted a video of the dancing duo on their page showing the star spreading hope and light to one of the patients. She goes to the visit with a very simple Halloween costume, a cat ears headband and a cheetah print blazer. Bersten went with a simple costume as well, wearing just dog ears. The duo was there to surprise a patient named Coco on her last day at the hospital - see the heartwarming video below:
The former Bachelorette star entered the room saying, “Hey Coco, I promise I’m here for the right reasons,” referring to her infamous line on her season. She continues to hug the little girl and asks her what she thought of the show, saying, “It’s crazy right?” Brown asks her about the fact that she will be checking out of the hospital soon, asking Coco, “You’re going home today, right?” Coco replies, “Yeah,” and Brown says, “I’m really happy for you, and you look great!”
Fans praised the former beauty queen by saying that she’s really using her platform to spread light and love to those around her. Brown has been recently struggling with the dance competition after the Halloween special when the judges gave her some harsh criticism. Fans are hoping that Brown will be able to shake off the nerves and dance her way to top. Brown knows that Coco will be at home rooting her on.
