German antitrust proceedings against Apple have been initiated by the Bundeskartellamt (Federal Cartel Office). The main focus is on the App Store, but the competition regulator is also examining the broader impact of the Apple ecosystem, such as pre-installed apps and the treatment of services that compete with Apple (like Spotify). “CISA has added 95 new vulnerabilities to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, based on evidence of active exploitation. These types of vulnerabilities are a frequent attack vector for malicious cyber actors and pose significant risk to the federal enterprise,” the agency said. The Windows flaw CVE-2021-41379 that joined CISA’s list was being used in attacks against customers in November. Lena Dunham’s semi-autobiographical HBO series featured twentysomething aspiring writer Hannah Horvath and her friends navigating life, love, and exorbitant rent prices in Brooklyn. The series was praised for its warts-and-all portrait of millennials in the 2010s, but there were times when the show’s brilliance was overshadowed by the shockingly entitled behavior of its characters. Between this and Girls’ tendency to veer off the beaten path in terms of splitting up the characters and sending them on adventures away from their NYC home-base, the show’s tone felt inconsistent at times....

Gossip Girl was a legendary teen soap that thrived on the dysfunction and drama of all of it’s characters. Every day when I had a little time, I went out to the workshop to do a little bit more building. While Thanos’ plan is too flawed to succeed, the eco-terrorists in Godzilla 2 manage to pull off a scheme that actually works....

The first allows you to point your iPhone’s camera at a print advertisement and it will then search the ad and show you more information about it online. The second feature, as shown in the video above, lets Google Goggles read sudoko puzzles. The update is available for the stand alone Android Google Goggles app and will soon be available in the official Google app on the App Store....
