Snape has always been one of the most controversial characters in the Harry Potter franchise, and certain fans still struggle to forgive him for his actions simply because he had a redeeming arc in The Deathly Hallows. All in all, however, Professor Severus Snape did have his heroic moments, even if his actions were more frequently perceived as villainous. Geek Watch takes the design and interface of the classic Casio calculator watch and puts it on the Apple Watch. As you can see in the screenshots above, there’s no Casio branding on the interface due to legal obligations, but nearly everything else is directly inspired by the popular classic calculator watch....

The Star Wars Celebration has gotten underway in Orlando, and the 40th Anniversary celebration panel has already started in style, welcoming George Lucas to the stage in a surprise guest appearance. The panel, hosted by Warwick Davis, first welcomed LucasFilm President, Kathleen Kennedy to the stage, with the audience giving a standing ovation. She then introduced Lucas to the stage, and it’s fair to say the place went nuts. Lucas then sat down with Davis to talk about how the idea for Star Wars came about....

On Monday at its special event, Apple introduced a new set of nylon Apple Watch bands that we first reported earlier this year. The new straps come in both 38mm and 42mm versions with seven color options available. Officially called Woven Nylon, these bands which are paired with either aluminum and stainless steel models or sold separately mark the first time Apple has introduced new entry level strap options. Google today has rolled out an update to the Gmail app for iOS that gives users the ability to further curtail email tracking. The latest update adds a new setting that allows users to block external images in emails from being displayed automatically. With today’s update, users can choose to be asked each time whether or not to display external images in an email. This includes email trackers that can be hidden in the body of emails....
