Although Gemini Man’s box office numbers and critical reception isn’t up to snuff, there is no denying its effects are dazzling. The de-aged Will Smith is fairly impeccable, bringing the Fresh Prince’s young persona back. Though the film’s script didn’t meet the dazzling effect, that doesn’t mean the concept couldn’t be used again. Seeing an iconic action star like Will Smith go back to his prime is so exciting on paper, and it makes one wonder how it could be used for other action heroes of old....

True to his word, later that day, the Gmail team announced new themes, which they made available to preview the new Gmail look. Following its acquisition of Zagat in 2011, Google has launched a brand-new iPhone app for Zagat on the App Store. Apple Maps got updated with 3D satellite images of Apple Park back in March, and the same is now true of Google Maps. Selecting satellite view and then zooming in brings up the usual 3D button, which then allows you to CTRL-drag to change the perspective. The images are very out of date, showing construction at a much earlier stage, but it’s still quite fun to explore – like the look at the Steve Jobs Theater shown above....

Google’s response to Apple’s WWDC kicks off today with the opening keynote address at the Google I/O conference and, like Apple, this time around Google gave a full preview of the next version of Android ahead of a fall release. Android “L” (we’re assuming a dessert name will be decided on later) introduces a completely new design language as well as major enhancements for battery life, a new Android Runtime to replace Dalvik, and integration with its Android Wear platform....

Since the iPhone X’s release back in November, developers have been updating their applications to take full advantage of the new 5.8-inch display. Some developers have moved faster than others at this, and now Google has confirmed that an update is coming “soon” to one of the most notable holdouts… Wall Street Journal columnist David Pierce shared on Twitter today that Google confirmed to him an update is coming to Inbox for iOS with iPhone X support....

Sony Pictures took a chance at cornering the family friendly horror genre by adapting material from legendary writer R.L. Stine in 2015 with Goosebumps. They hired Rob Letterman, the man behind family flicks Shark Tale, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Gulliver’s Travels, to direct the adaptation. Letterman’s experience coupled with the comedic timing of Jack Black gave the movie a step in the right direction from the start, and it turned out to be a successful pairing....

There are tons of insects around you in Grounded. While it is very easy to take on the smaller insects and take items and collectibles from them, sometimes you will have to face the bigger ones too. This includes ants, spiders, and even ladybugs. The items that you get to harvest from them are much more valuable than the ones you harvest from the smaller, weaker insects. Hannibal season 1 episode 9 sees Abigail finally come clean about her role in her father’s killings. The NBC Hannibal series evolved into one of the most unique procedurals on TV. The show charted the relationship between the title character - a supernaturally intelligent and refined psychiatrist who just happens to be a cannibalistic serial killer - and Will Graham, an FBI profiler. Will has an empathy disorder that allows him to get into the mindset of the killers he chases but doing so proves poisonous to his psyche....

Most of the current youth has been shaped by the influence of the Harry Potter books which form part of almost all of our childhoods. Before JK Rowling made it a habit to retroactively change things all the time, the ideals from the novels and movies were taken very seriously by fans. We’re not saying it’s a guarantee that the potential bad lessons always apply to readers, but what we’re stressing here is that the story was set out in such a way that bad interpretations are a definite possibility....

The Order of the Phoenix is a notable group of witches and wizards who work together as a counterforce to Voldemort’s Death Eaters.
