The biggest fear about game streaming comes from the latency associtated with button presses, but Google claims it will address these concerns through Stadia by predicting what inputs players will make ahead of time. Google Stadia looks to be taking a very different approach to gaming, as a streaming-only service available across a range of devices. Gamers are eager to see how it will all shake out for Google, especially with Stadia netting games like Red Dead Redemption 2, but it’s going to be difficult to compete with both Xbox and Sony both offering consoles and streaming solutions....

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters next month, shortly after the film’s soundtrack (aka. Awesome Mix Vol. 2) arrives. Marvel Studios is currently promoting the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel across as many platforms of press as the studio can. Google has launched its two new entry-level models such as Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. These two devices will also get 3 years of faster and frequent software updates and patches like other Pixel devices. Currently, these two handsets are running on Android Pie out-of-the-box. That means Pixel 3a and 3a XL devices will get Android Q update and also Android R and Android S in the future. That’s great....

Actress Halle Berry shoots a machine gun in a behind-the-scenes John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum video. In May 2018, Berry was officially cast for the latest franchise installment, this coming after she reportedly demanded to have a role before the script was written. In the original John Wick film, Keanu Reeves plays the title character. After the death of John Wick’s wife, the former hitman returns to a life of crime and seeks vengeance for a home robbery, along with the murder of his dog....

I’ve long been waiting for Apple to incorporate its incredible iCloud Keychain features for third-parties on iOS. At last, with iOS 12 that prayer has finally been answered. I’ve been fortunate enough to get a first-look with 1Password’s implementation, and it works exactly as I’d hope. More details after the break… Note: Both iOS 12 and 1Password are currently in beta. Update: The UK has belatedly decided to adopt the Apple/Google API after all. No word yet on what that means for the timescale. The German contact tracing app has been downloaded by 6.5M people in the first 24 hours of availability, says the government. The Corona-Warn-App uses the joint Apple/Google API to ensure privacy, a U-turn on the German government’s previous plan to use a centralized database approach. Italy also got off to a good start with downloads of its Immuni app, which also uses the API....
